The COSA-IPOS Annual Scientific Meeting is Australia’s premier cancer meeting. The ASM is a multidisciplinary meeting, inviting participation from doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and scientists working in cancer care nationally and internationally.

The 2025 National Cancer Survivorship Conference hosted by COSA in partnership with Flinders University, the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (based at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre), and the VCCC Alliance.

For over 10 years, there have been two Australian cancer survivorship conferences, hosted by different organisations, based in different cities. For the first time, these two events come together to deliver a unified Australian event.

The ANZGOG 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting offers the opportunity to the Australasian scientific community to explore ground-breaking research and multidisciplinary collaboration in the gynaecological cancer preclinical and clinical space with a focus on equity, diversity and inclusion in clinical trials. The conference is also the forum to connect and build your oncology network across Australia and New Zealand in a stimulating environment.

This international congress is a key forum for advancing AYA cancer care for over 400 professionals, encompassing medical, nursing, allied health, and psychosocial care experts, alongside AYA patient advocates.

This year’s theme, Thinking Outside the Box, will encourage delegates to think beyond traditional trial approaches and challenge the norm.

The theme for the 2024 COSA ASM is: Bridging gaps, building progress, breaking down disparities.

The disease theme will have a strong focus on cancers with poorer outcomes – and include sessions on carcinoma of unknown primary, pancreatic cancers, and brain metastases, just to name a few.

The theme of the 2024 Conference is Diversity, Innovation and Future Directions of Oncology Social Work and will feature keynote speakers presenting on the themes of Paediatrics & AYA; First Nations Peoples; End of Life; Future Directions.

This year’s theme is: Precision Targets: Personalised Care in Neuro-Oncology.

The theme for IPOS 2024 is ‘Cancer in Context’ and it will highlight the circumstances in which cancer plays a significant role in the lives of people facing the disease.

In 2024 oncologists from around Australia are looking forward to gathering in Sydney for our prestigious 45th Annual Scientific Meeting.
